me: ... Um... why does she have a blueman shadow? A sparkly blueman shadow? Why does she have breakdancing mimes???
Mimdancer: What? You want me to explain it to you?

Hey! I thought it was a giant stapler as well. :) I've been having a Eurovision marathon in my Newcastlke hotel room... Ukraine were hilarious, and I loved Moldova.

We managed to see both semis and the final - Eurovision is becoming quite flashy with its production values. I miss when you'd have 3 Estonian guys in acid wash denim called 'Rock Captain' or something equally rubbish.

I missed N when he came up for his b'day. Me and V really do have to coordinate a visit and catch-up with you guys on one side of the tasman or another sometime soon.
