The first time I saw the end of Greece's act, I thought he was standing on a giant stapler. Eurovision is surreal enough without that.

Why does she have breakdancing mimes???
We were calling them the Midget Clown Vampires.

There is NO WAY Azerbaijan should have scored so high. They were awful...

Hey! I thought it was a giant stapler as well. :) I've been having a Eurovision marathon in my Newcastlke hotel room... Ukraine were hilarious, and I loved Moldova.

We managed to see both semis and the final - Eurovision is becoming quite flashy with its production values. I miss when you'd have 3 Estonian guys in acid wash denim called 'Rock Captain' or something equally rubbish.

I missed N when he came up for his b'day. Me and V really do have to coordinate a visit and catch-up with you guys on one side of the tasman or another sometime soon.
