catsidheKudos and congratulations to the paleoanthropological team on Flores in Indonesia, who have
(BTW, for those who haven't seen the reports, one of the members of the team has said that this hominid may have lived on the island up until the 16thC, CE. For any cryptozoologists out there, this might lead to interesting speculations on the topic of the Orang Pendak...)
- Discovered and classified Homo Floresiensis, and
- caused news agencies world wide to use the word 'hobbit' in a serious scientific context.
