Sorry.

And this will sound petty and vindictive, but I don't care:
I hope that John, wherever he was, petulantly avoiding being seen to having anything to do with the statement he spent most of his time in power denying, avoiding, and generally preventing, was weeping quietly while the Prime Minister talked, in impotent frustration and futile rage as his country was remade in front of him into something he does not recognise, and to which he is foreign, disdained and discarded.

You know, like we were while he was in charge.

The Former Prime Minister John Howard (I love saying that) can eat shit and die. I'd prefer to look forwards at the future, not backwards at irrelevent fossils rotting in their own filth. There's a lot of work to do, after all.

Looking forward is wonderful, now that we are allowed to contemplate it.

But that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy looking over my shoulder and getting a warm glow at the sight.

Yeah. I love that warm glow.

Former Prime Minister John Howard.

Sorry, I just love saying it.

It just makes you feel that there's hope this Country will get back to the loving place we used to think it was.
