It doesn't matter what the courts think, the Government says that you are guilty, and you will be imprisoned.

I...

It's...

But...

What the FUCK?!

WHAT THE FUCKING CHRIST ON A POGOSTICK GIVES THAT WARMED UP WALKING CORPSE THE POWER TO OVERRIDE A COURT'S FULL AQUITTAL?

YOU'RE DAMN FUCKING RIGHT I'M SHOUTING!

Oh, wait, it was the Government who gave Lich-boy that power. And who gave Johhny's government that power? It was the complicity of every poor fucking bastard who thought that Johnny actually had the power or the will to do a quarter of the shit he promised (like, say, keep interest rates down), and voted for him.

This blatant attack on the power of a Court of Law to determine whether or not someone deserves to be punished is, of course, not entirely unexpected. But make no mistake. What Ruddock has just done is to declare that the Government has the final arbitration on a person's guilt -- that this arbitration is, will be, must be based on rumour and anonymous slander and outright lies secret information sources -- and that there can be no appeal to this arbitration.

You Have Been Judged Guilty, and the Facts and the Law can go fuck themselves.

Mark this day: the Star Chamber is out in the open, and doesn't care who knows. The Star Chamber is now officially running the country.

Why are we not taking back our country? When will it be enough to trigger rioting in the streets? Or will we need a White Rose to wake people up?

A State which engages in such actions is indistinguishable from a terrorist organisation, and should be treated as such.

Amen.

I remember reading somewhere that democracy is an inherently corrupt system, and needs to be rebooted every so often to keep the corruption in hand. Given what we're living through right now, I have to agree.

I share your raging anger, and encourage it. I can't really say anymore as I will start ranting. I find I do that too much.
