That Academic Boycott of Israel Thing.

catsidheIt is easy to say: Those Horrible Left-wing Academic Overlords are punishing Israel unfairly.
Why, the Israeli's don't agree with the boycott, and neither do the Palestinians! How unfair is that!
It makes a bit more sense if you actually look at what the hell actually happened, instead of going off the twig at perceived injustices.
I should point out that it is not as if I agree with the boycott, but it would be nice if some actual information was involved in the decision to support, ignore or condemn it, instead of merely railing against the injustice of the Socialists who Rule the World.
Strange, though, that this (highly controversial) action has recieved such opprobrium, whereas the CampusNightwatch Watch Blacklist is a laudible, indeed praiseworthy, counter to those damned Stalinist Apparatchiks who force university students to be lesbian greeny communists and join the International Socialists.
