Unicode Geekitude

If you are in any way interested in how languages like Chinese, Hebrew, Arabic and English can all play nicely together on the intarwebs, read The Absolute Minimum Every Software Developer Absolutely, Positively Must Know About Unicode and Character Sets (No Excuses!).

Tell that to the standards writers too. I can't believe that WebDAV doesn't enforce and encoding scheme on URIs. Fuckers. And of course every client does it differently so you wind up having to either just store and present 8 bit or guess.
