Am I so unreasonable?

Given that by this point, the discussion is between erudito and myself, I doubt anyone else is watching. I am genuinely interested in what other people think.

Take a big breath in, hold it, let it out, and calm down... And then smack yourself in the head and say "I will not get into extended arguments with erudito. Ever." :(

I've tried, and it only wound up getting me annoyed. It stems from a fundamental difference in philosophies, among other things. I accept that there are things that I will never be able to change his mind on, and I hope he thinks/feels the same way about me. Even if we do think each is other stupid sometimes.

You're not unreasonable, just passionate and shouty. Like so many of my friends. ;(

BTW, I am reading, but due to vagaries of work, moving house, and telephone issues, I'm not reading consistently, or with time to reply always.
