Deciding to join us at the ungodly hour of 4:01am, Susannah Maeve Staples.
3.8kg, natural birth, no painkillers, 20 stitches.


I'm tired now. Had a nap which didn't seem to help much, but I should rescue Abbi from her grandmother, or my mother-in-law from Abbi, or something.

Usu. suggests we wait until we're over our colds before we come and visit, which seems wise, but it would be lovely to visit and see your new baby.

Mim's coming home on Wednesday or Thursday (Wednesday if she can arrange it), and I've got another two and a half or so weeks of paternity leave to go after that, so drop in whenever you feel sufficiently quarantined.
