Why, explains a serious-faced ‘comedian’ (whom I do not find funny in the slightest, even when he is trying to be), so many pills are taken in Australia every day that it adds up to two for every man, woman and child.
Such as, say, when I get a backache and take two Neurofen. And Mim pointed out that she takes at least one pill each day, every day. Because we're not ready for any more little feet pattering about, TYVM. Then there's an iron supplement. Sometimes a multivitamin.
And just think of all those people on antibiotics. And the chronically ill. They're all TAKING PILLS!!eleven!

I do not intend to give that trash the chance to try and justify its hysterical crap. Because it simply can't, based on about ten seconds of rational thought: something obviously considered unlikely to happen in the intended audience. That's OK, though. I'm sure they're all too ‘hip’ and ‘cool’ to notice the contempt in which they're held.
