I don't feel as bad now.

I've been given a one-year extension to my contract, and a bump up the pay scale a bit.

This way my situation can be reassessed later in the year, to see if things improve or not.

They were impressed at the level of support I have (and so was I), and all in all, I think I got the best deal I could reasonably have hoped for nthe circumstances.

So, disaster averted for now.



I think I've taken too much Sudafed today. I have the jitters. Yet my sinuses are still blocked. Damn hayfever season.
