Yes, I think woohoo is correct. You have a diagnosis. Your mystery has a shape. It's not as glorious as being given conclusive evidence that everything you're worried about is just a side-effect of insufficient chocolate, say, but it's certainly better than continuing to wonder. I'm glad they didn't make you wait for weeks or months to get the results.

I hope the formal recognition of your condition settles well with you. I recently wrote a piece in an LJ Aspie community about why I believe diagnosis can be so useful, even for adults. I hope something akin to the positive impacts I described (which come from formal identification of my processing speed deficit) come to pass for you.
