The storm has washed the city.

I can smell trees, instead of my nose shutting down from smog.
The air is so clear that from my office I can see individual trees on the Dandenongs. Normally, I count myself lucky if I can see that they even exist through the brown haze.

I wonder how long it will last.

Individual trees? Either you've been eating more carrots than even Tooticky, borged up your eyes, or are prone to slight exaggeration... ;)

It won't last long enough, but any temperature under 25^o and any rain fall in Feb. is a wonderful thing.

Individual trees?
No, really, where it has been impossible at times to see the mountains for the smog, for the last couple of days I have been able to see individual trees along the ridge, and count the transmission towers.
